Even Adama Holdings Ltd. considers it of the utmost importance to make our website and services accessible to people with disabilities.
Accordingly, the site uses an accessibility plug-in in line with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 2013.
Some of the accessibility adjustments on the site are described below:
Keyboard users
- Every action on the site can be carried out with a keyboard, as follows: pressing Tab moves to the next link and pressing Enter activates it. Pressing Shift+Tab moves to the previous link.
- In the accessibility menu, the “skip to page content” option lets keyboard and screen-reader users skip the menus and go straight to the content of the page.
- In tables where a row can be selected, selection by keyboard is done by pressing Space and Shift together.
Users with visual impairments
- The site's colours have high contrast to improve readability for people with a visual impairment, and contrast can be increased further in the accessibility menu.
- Font size can be changed in the accessibility menu.
- The whole display can be enlarged or reduced using the browser's zoom. Pressing Control and plus (+) together enlarges the display (press several times to reach the size you want). It can be reduced by pressing Control and minus (-) together.
The site is also adapted for visitors using screen-reader software, including headings, alternative text for images, and division into navigation and main content areas with the ability to skip between them.
